This guide presents a structured process and a series of steering questions to assist public health professionals present research evidence to policy-makers while incorporating their needs and concerns.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The guide addresses four questions:

  1. To which public policies does this analytical framework apply?
  2. In what types of situations is it useful?
  3. On which policy facets does it focus?
  4. How is the analysis carried out?

These summaries are written by the NCCMT to condense and to provide an overview of the resources listed in the Registry of Methods and Tools and to give suggestions for their use in a public health context.
