Critical Appraisal of Systematic Reviews

Who is this module for?

Critical Appraisal of Systematic Reviews of Treatment or Prevention Interventions is a free, interactive and self-paced module designed for public health practitioners, program managers/directors and staff responsible for finding and assessing research evidence to support decisions about public health interventions.

What will you learn?

Critical appraisal of research evidence should be part of any decision. Not all systematic reviews are of equal quality. As a public health professional, you need to know if the research evidence you find can be trusted.

Critical Appraisal of Systematic Reviews gives you the knowledge you need to quickly and efficiently appraise review-level research evidence to inform your public health decisions. After completing this module you will be able to answer:

Is the review well done?
Can you trust the conclusions?
Can the findings be applied to your own population?
