Registry of Knowledge Translation Methods and Tools: A resource to support evidence-informed public health

Facilitating access to knowledge translation resources is an identified need to support public health professionals in using research evidence in practice and policy. A newly published paper in the International Journal of Public Health examines the development of an online Registry of Knowledge Translation Methods and Tools to support evidence-informed decision making public health. A search strategy, screening and data extraction tools were developed to find, assess and summarize relevant resources in a searchable database. With over 133 summaries, the Registry has been accessed by 32, 945 visitors from 190 countries in 2012.
