Our Funder

The National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools (NCCMT) has been funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada since 2007. The Public Health Agency of Canada is the national public health body in Canada that provides leadership in preventing disease and injury and promoting health.

The NCCMT was granted an eight year funding extension in 2020, meaning the NCCMT is now supported through to 2028. This funding is timely, as the COVID-19 global pandemic continues to be a pressing public health issue. This funding renewal, along with additional funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada, has allowed the NCCMT to shift priorities and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic on both a national and international scale.
