Our Host Institution

The National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools (NCCMT) is hosted by the School of Nursing at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. McMaster University is located on the traditional territories of the Mississauga and Haudenosaunee nations, within the lands protected by the Dish with One Spoon wampum agreement. It has been featured as one of the top 100 universities in the world and was one of Hamilton-Niagara’s top employers for 2019.

McMaster University is also known as the birthplace of evidence-based decision-making and has a strong history in promoting evidence-based practice. This makes it the perfect fit for the NCCMT and our focus on evidence-informed decision-making in public health.
