Description

This model explores the use of different types of evidence in evidence-informed policy making (EIPM).

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The model guides users through multiple steps in each of the three domains of EIPM:

1. Process – Understand how the problem, policy and politics interact to successfully change policy.

2. Content – Identify effective evidence-based elements of policy to be adopted.

3. Outcome – Evaluate the policy and its impact.

The model also includes a table listing various barriers to implementing EIPM.
