Steps for Using Method/Tool

This document summarizes the latest, most relevant health equity tools and combines them into one resource. A health equity tool is defined as “a document or resource that either assesses the degree to which health equity is included in policies or programs, measures health equity or promotes the inclusion of health equity in policies or programs.”

This document can be considered a tool in itself, and can be used as a reference list or inventory of health equity resources.

These summaries are written by the NCCMT to condense and to provide an overview of the resources listed in the Registry of Methods and Tools and to give suggestions for their use in a public health context. For more information on individual methods and tools included in the review, please consult the authors/developers of the original resources.
