Description

This pragmatic decision tool is designed for selecting a suitable rapid review approach. Recognizing the challenges of collaboration between producers of rapid reviews and policy-makers, this tool aims to validate the decision tool by achieving consensus between these two groups by using the Delphi method.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The tool guides users through four sections:

  1. Interaction with commissioners
  2. Understanding the evidence base
  3. Data extraction and synthesis methods
  4. Reporting of rapid review methods

These summaries are written by the NCCMT to condense and to provide an overview of the resources listed in the Registry of Methods and Tools and to give suggestions for their use in a public health context.
