An intervention may be effective in a one setting but how can you know if it will be effective in yours? Considering factors that play a role in successful implementation can help.  

The Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) is used to guide the adaptation and plan for the implementation of public health interventions. The tool is appropriate for individuals and groups involved in planning and implementing existing interventions.
