Using NCCMT resources to support and enhance learning

Introducing two new videos

NCCMT resources, publications and online learning modules focusing on evidence-informed public health are being incorporated into the curricula of post-secondary institutions across Canada. In these two videos, professors from two Canadian universities and their students describe how they use NCCMT resources:

Teaching with Tools

Dr. Andrew Papadopoulos, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the University of Guelph’s Master of Public Health Program, explains how he uses NCCMT resources in the MPH program curriculum. A recent graduate describes how the resources helped her prepare for work in the field.

Better Outcomes in Post-secondary Education

In the University of New Brunswick’s Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Lynne Duffy used NCCMT’s wheel of evidence-informed public health, our online learning module and other associated publications to structure a 4th-year class project in community nursing. Dr. Duffy and her students share their experiences with using NCCMT’s resources.
