Description

This partnership-building tool is designed for organizations entering into new, or working in existing, partnerships for health promotion. The tool includes a checklist that grades the level of agreement between partners on a number of statements. The checklist uses a scoring system to gauge the strength of the relationship.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The tool guides users through four phases, supplemented by activities to be completed by both partners:

1. Motivating change;

2. Developing support for change;

3. Managing the transition;

4. Sustaining momentum.

These summaries are written by the NCCMT to condense and to provide an overview of the resources listed in the Registry of Methods and Tools and to give suggestions for their use in a public health context. For more information on individual methods and tools included in the review, please consult the authors/developers of the original resources.
