This model is a novel approach to the public health policy cycle. It focuses on the role of political will in developing and implementing public health policy based on research evidence and community engagement.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The method consists of three main phases, supplemented by sub-phases and examples:

  1. Gather information.
  2. Prepare to develop a strategy.
  3. Take action.
