Description

This tool supports knowledge sharing and exchange in addition to providing indicators to measure the impact of knowledge translation (KT) initiatives. The tool provides resources that help users plan, implement and evaluate a KT strategy, including completing fillable worksheets, document planning, and implementation and evaluation of KT strategies.

Steps for Using Method/Tool

The tool guides users through the following steps:

  • Who will you reach?
  • What are the objectives?
  • What is the message?
  • How will you reach your audience?
  • How will you identify opportunities and barriers?
  • How will you assess your resources?
  • How will you measure the impact and revise?

These summaries are written by the NCCMT to condense and to provide an overview of the resources listed in the Registry of Methods and Tools and to give suggestions for their use in a public health context.
